Peanut Butter Pound Cake

by Hungryginie

Hello, you have to be a peanut butter enthusiast and, wow, have you come to the proper place. This pound cake is like no different pound cake. It’s HUGE for starters and – get equipped – has peanut butter within the cake, peanut butter chips, and a peanut butter glaze. Did we upload enough peanut butter for you? Lord, I wish so. You’ll be falling in love as soon as this cake begins baking. Sorry for the long bake time due to the fact the scent could be devastating at the same time as you wait. But it’s so really worth it!

Directions

Make the cake: Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a nine” tube pan with cooking spray. In a massive bowl using a hand mixer (or within the bowl of a stand mixer) beat together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add peanut butter and beat till incorporated. Add eggs one after the other, beating properly after each addition. Add vanilla and mix till combined.
In another massive bowl, whisk together three cups flour, baking powder, and salt. Add half of the dry components to moist ingredients, beating until just combined. Pour in milk and mix till absolutely integrated, then add closing dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
In a small bowl toss chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and an ultimate tablespoon of flour together, then fold into batter.
Pour batter into the organized pan and smooth pinnacle with a rubber spatula. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out easy, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Let cool in pan 10 mins, then invert onto a cooling rack to chill completely.
Make the glaze: Whisk collectively powdered sugar, milk, peanut butter, and vanilla. Pour over cooled cake and top with mini chocolate chips.

Swimming Pool Cakes – Not with actual water, we promise! Picture this: the pinnacle cake layer made to appear to be an infinity swimming pool. This may be completed via cutting the pinnacle square side off of the cake (like a router might carve out the edge of a wooden desk), to simulate a limitless pool. Figurines of the bride and groom’s heads can be protruding of the top of the pool, with sun shades and sunhats on, maintaining cocktails of course!

Hawaiian Cakes – How approximately leis as a cake topper? Or a hula bride figurine engaging the groom at the top of the cake? The cake may be wrapped with a strong, or seashore umbrella, Hawaiian cocktails, pineapples, or something else Hawaiian could be incorporated.

Beach Colored Cakes – Just want to use beach themed colorings? Stick with white, tan, off-white, teal, and of course, blue. The use of blue can be subtle as the shade of the frosting, or airbrushed onto the outdoor of the cake for a blended or accented appearance.
