As fans of cronuts and cake pops can attest, food traits come and move. So how can you inform which tastes are trending right now? We took a data-driven study of the query, using Yelp to research which eateries had been getting oversized notice this month. To discover who made the listing, we looked at Los Angeles companies on Yelp via class and counted how many critiques every obtained.

Rather than evaluating them primarily based on a variety of evaluations alone, we calculated a percentage boom in opinions over the last month and tracked agencies that constantly increased their volume of opinions to perceive statistically sizeable outliers compared to past overall performance.
